Early Work

Artist development is fascinating to me. I love to see the work an artist initially created at the beginning of their career and see how the process and style of their work evolves. All of the work on this page was created while I was in college. During my college years, I could not afford any Adobe products so all of these images were made in Gimp. Many of these images include stock photos that I found online.

The video below is one I made for my lighting class while I was a junior in college. I borrowed a friend's fish tank and shined some very bright lights behind it. I didn't really know what I was doing but the process was a lot of fun.

It can be painful for artists to look at their past work. I find it nostalgic and I am able to see my growth.
